Houser Construction was built on direct accountability — one crew, one standard, one point of contact. Steve had spent a career in the trades running jobs and crews. David came up on those sites and now runs the company, with his father as partner.
The old is gone. The new has come.
Today the work is primarily commercial and real estate — ground-up builds, tenant improvements, restoration, and development — with residential construction and remodels alongside it, anywhere in Alaska. The structure stayed lean on purpose: when you hire us, the people who priced the job are the people delivering it.

Steve came up through the trades the long way — framing, finishing, and running crews. He sets the field standard: quality control, site safety, and a closeout that holds up to inspection the first time through.

David runs estimating, client relationships, and project execution, from the first walkthrough to the final punch list. On commercial and real estate work he is the single point of contact — the person who prices the job and the person accountable for delivering it.
